Series History: No. 8 Franklin & Marshall takes on Ursinus for the 44th time Wednesday evening and the Diplomats lead the series 27-16, including the last 12 contests. Haverford and F&M will square off on Saturday for the 31st time with the Diplomats winning the last 14 meetings and F&M holds a 25-5 all-time record.  

Player of the Week: Kelsey Hoffman was named Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse announced Monday. The honor is the second straight for Hoffman and fourth this season and the Diplomats now have six awards on the year.

Hoffman went 1-0 last week with 10 saves in the 18-8 win over Swarthmore and moved her record to 9-3.

F&M Last Week: Franklin & Marshall defeated Swarthmore 18-8 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.

Anastasia Mergner came away with seven draws and Sarah Bozzo along with Mary Mitchell finished three ground balls for the Diplomats. 

Kelsey Hoffman had 10 saves and improved to 9-3 while Michelle Ammerman took the loss with seven stops. 

Last Time We Met Ursinus: Caroline Krohn scored four goals and added two assists and Emily Everdell tallied four goals to lead No. 7 Franklin & Marshall to an 18-6 victory over Ursinus on April 17, 2013.

Mary Mitchell scored once and handed out three assists; Casey MaddenMaggie Mae Shields and Brittney Jorgenson each netted two goals while Lauren Selawski and Ali Kelly added a goal each for the Diplomats. 

Jen Noon had four ground balls and Shields caused three turnovers to pace the F&M defense. 

Kelsey Hoffman had three saves in 37 minutes of work and went to 10-3, Kaitlin Hardt had two stops in relief and Riley Pembroke took loss for the Bears. 

Last Time We Met Haverford: Brittney Jorgenson scored five goals as No. 7 Franklin & Marshall defeated Haverford 16-7 last year on April 20.

Emily Everdell had four goals with an assist, Mary Mitchell found twine three times and Ali Kelly finished with two goals and an assist with Caroline Krohn handing out four assists and scoring once.  Casey Madden added a score, Maggie Mae Shields notched two helpers and Grace Saliba ended with an assist.

Krohn came away with six draws while Jen Noon and Shields collected four ground balls. 

Kelsey Hoffman went to 11-2 with 11 saves while Shannon Horn took the loss with three stops.
