Series History: Franklin & Marshall takes on Stevenson for just the second time since 2011 as the Diplomats won the first game 14-4 on March 12, 2011. The Diplomats will face Brockport on Saturday for the third meeting between the schools with F&M leading the series 2-0. 

In the Rankings: F&M moved up four spots to fourth in this week's IWLCA Coaches Poll while Gettysburg (3rd) is the only other CC school ranked. 

F&M Last Week: F&M opened the season with two victories last week. The Diplomats took down No. 13 York 9-5 on Wednesday before crushing No. 14 Washington & Lee 17-7 on Saturday.

Paige Moriarty finished with a goal and an assist in her first collegiate game against York while Kelly had a team-high two scores and Jorgenson ended with a goal and one helper for the Diplomats. Katie Groenke, Emily Everdell and Anastasia Mergner all picked up two draws and Mergner added a game-best four ground balls with three caused turnovers.  

Kaitlin Hardt picked up the win in goal with four saves and improved to 1-0 while Charlotte Wright suffered the loss with five stops and dropped to 1-1.  

Brittney Jorgenson scored four goals and handed out an assist while Saliba, Moriarty, Emily D'Erasmo, Everdell and Gabby Frank all scored a pair goals for the Diplomats and Madden finished with a goal and two helpers against W&L. Megan Kelly led the Diplomats with three draw controls and added two caused turnovers while Moriarty and Hardt both finished with a game-high four ground balls. 

Corrine Wood led the way for the Generals with three scores, Hayley Soutter netted two and Olivia Sisson along with Lauren Procaccino each scored a goal. 

Hardt improved to 2-0 with four saves while only giving up five goals and Cara Mulligan took the loss with five stops. 

F&M outshot W&L 29-18, held a 22-15 edge in groundballs and won 16-of-26 draws. The Diplomats were 3-for-5 in free position shots while the Generals connected on 2-of-3 free position opportunities. 

Last Time We Met Stevenson: No. 3 Franklin & Marshall used a ball-hawking ride defense, with Erin Dunne's four goals and two assists, to knock off No. 20 Stevenson 14-4 on March 12, 2011. 

F&M's offense had its highest output of the season but it was the Diplomats' defense that frustrated Stevenson all day. F&M stopped nine Mustang clear attempts, scooped 26 ground balls, forced 25 turnovers and goalie Rebecca Rosen turned away seven of 11 shots.

Last Time We Met Brockport: Caroline Krohn scored four goals and handed out three assists to lead No. 5 Franklin & Marshall to a 19-13 victory over Brockport State last year on Feb. 22. 

Kimberly Abruzzo and Natalie Delinsky also scored for the Diplomats while Mergner came away with 12 draws, picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers.  

Kelsey Hoffman finished with seven saves and went to 1-0 on the season while Remie Herr dropped to 0-1 with seven saves.
