Series History: Franklin & Marshall takes on Lebanon Valley for the first time since 1985, when the Diplomats faced the Dutchmen as members of the MAC. F&M is a perfect 9-0 against LVC.
In the Rankings: Franklin & Marshall's women's lacrosse team is tied for first in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Poll, released Monday.
The Diplomats (4-0) tied Centennial Conference (CC) rival Gettysburg (2-0) for the top spot in the poll. F&M picked up six first place votes while the Bullets garnered four, but both teams totaled 374 points. The first place ranking is the highest for the Diplomats since F&M was ranked first in the March 19, 2010 poll.
F&M Last Week: F&M continued the season with two victories last week. The Diplomats held off No. 19 Stevenson 13-8 on Wednesday before cruising to a 21-11 victory against Brockport St. on Sunday.
Grace Saliba finished with four goals and two assists to pace F&M against Stevenson, while Britney Jorgenson added three and Anastasi Mergner and Page Moriarty each registered two. Gabby Frank had a goal and handed out three assists and Emily Everdell finished with a score and a helper.
Kaitlin Hardt improved to 3-0 with five saves in goal and Leanne Bittner (0-3) took the loss after stopping 11 shots.
F&M held the advantage in shots (35-17) and draw controls (15-8) and had a slight edge in ground balls (20-17). The Diplomats were a perfect 11-for-11 on clear attempts.

Moriarty connected on all five of her shots and finished with five goals and one assist to lead the Diplomats over Brockport. Everdell had three scores while Kelly, Jorgenson and Saliba each struck twice. Frank, Hannah Serling, Christie Huidekoper, Natalie Delinsky, Kimberly Abruzzo and all finished with a score. Casey Madden handed out a game-high four assists while Saliba and Mergner finished with two apiece.
Danielle Harrington came in at the start of the second half and turned away six shots to pick up her first collegiate win while Remle Harr was saddled with the loss with four saves.
F&M outshot Brockport 31-23, held a 15-11 edge in ground balls and were successful on 17-of-19 clear attempts.
