Series History: Franklin & Marshall meets Catholic for the third time in series history on Wednesday. Last season, the Diplomats defeated the Cardinals 14-9 in early April. F&M will face Washington on Saturday for the 38th time and looks to continue its 17-game winning streak. The Diplomats hold a 32-5 series record, including a 15-8 win last season in the second round of the Centennial Conference (CC) Tournament.
National Ranking: F&M dropped three spots in the latest IWCLA coaches poll. The Diplomats enter the week ranked fifth, while Cortland St. still holds down the top spot.
CC POTW: For the second week in a row, Franklin & Marshall attack Paige Moriarty was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse. The honor is the second for Moriarty this season and the third award for a member of the women's lacrosse team.
Moriarty scored nine goals and assisted on three others in a 1-1 week for the fifth-ranked Diplomats. She tallied three times with a helper in the 12-10 setback to fourth-ranked Salisbury and notched six goals with two assists in an 18-12 win versus Muhlenberg on Saturday.
Milestone Watch: Mergner became the program's all-time leader in draw controls earlier this season. The senior passed Jen Pritchard '09 for first place and now has 260 career draws. She also ranks sixth in program history with 62 caused turnovers.
Fellow senior Blicht ranks fifth in caused turnovers with 68. Sarah Meisenberg '09 holds the program mark at 114.
Saliba became just the sixth player in school history to dish out 100 or more assists in a career. Her 100 assists are good for sixth-most in school history, while Blake Hargest '10 holds the record with 160.
F&M Last Week: The Diplomats went 1-1 last with a 12-10 setback to Salisbury to start off the week, before defeating Muhlenberg 18-12 on Saturday.

Saliba had four goals to pace the offense while Moriarty finished with three scores and an assist. Hughes, Jackson, and Delinsky all had a score and Blicht, Jackson along with Mergner each had an assist.
Mergner, Jackson and Blicht all caused two turnovers to pace the defense. Mergner also came away with eight of the Diplomats' 15 draw controls.
Kaitlin Hardt took the loss with one save while Gianna Falcone picked up the win with seven stops.
F&M outshot Salisbury 25-19, held a 15-9 edge in draws and held a slight 10-9 edge in ground balls.

Grace Saliba finished the game with a goal and four assists and became just the sixth player in program history to record 100 or more assists in a career.
Frank finished with three goals and three assists and Delinsky netted three and finished with a helper. Maddie Hughes, Miller and Jackson all had a goal and an assist while Mergner recorded a goal and two assists.
Mergner caused five turnovers to pace the defense, came away with four draws and had two ground balls. Vanessa Budd had three caused turnovers, three draws and two caused turnovers while Peyton Annese finished with two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Danielle Harrington picked up the win with five saves and improved to 4-0 and Kiersten Mulvey took the loss with seven stops.
F&M outshot Muhlenberg 36-19, went 13-for-16 in clear attempts and forced 24 turnovers.
Last Time We Met Catholic: Gabby Frank, Paige Moriarty and Brittney Jorgenson netted four goals each to lead No. 3 Franklin & Marshall to a 14-9 victory over No. 13 Catholic in women's lacrosse action on April 8, 2015. Click here to read the full recap.
Kelly added a game-high seven ground balls with two caused turnovers while Kaitlin Hardt picked up the win with 10 saves and Tricia Pehnke took the loss with 12 stops for the Cardinals.
F&M outshot Catholic 33-28, went 13-11 in draws and was successful on 13-of-16 clear attempts.

Frank, Everdell, Jorgenson, Saliba and Moriarty all finished with two scores while Delinsky, Abruzzo, Madden, D'Erasmo and Mergner each struck once. Moriarty led with a game-high four helpers while Hannah Serling, Delinsky, Abruzzo, and Kelly all handed out an assist for the Diplomats.

F&M outshot Washington 26-24, held a 17-8 advantage in draws and went 16-for-17 in clear attempts.
