LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall senior Caroline Doran was selected to participate in the Division III North/South All-Star game, announced Friday by the IWLCA. The game will be played on Saturday, June 4 at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa., with the game time set for 2:00 p.m.
Doran (Ardmore, Pa. / Haverford) is a four-year starter for the Diplomats, and is finishing up a stellar career in 2015-16 by helping to lead an F&M defense that ranks seventh in the nation with 5.91 goals allowed per game. The senior enters the weekend with 15 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers, and seven draw controls in 22 games. She also holds the program record for career starts (88) and is tied with classmates Anastasia Mergner and Grace Saliba for the program record in games played (89).
The Diplomats continue the quest for their first national championship since 2009 on Saturday, facing off with Trinity at 3:00 p.m. in the national semifinals.
