Series History

F&M and York battle for the ninth time in program history with F&M holding a 7-1 edge. York finally recorded a win in the series with a 9-4 victory last season. The Diplomats face Messiah on Saturday for the 10th time and own a 7-2 mark.


F&M is ranked 10th in the latest IWCLA Coaches poll. Gettysburg (1st) is the only other CC institution ranked in the poll.

Last Time We Met York

Grace Norley struck twice while Hannah Serling and Caroline Kolva both had a goal. Jane Cote finished with an assist for F&M.

Katie Groenke and Anya Chopoorian caused three turnovers each and Ryann Liable finished with three ground balls. Danielle Harrington took the loss with 10 stops and had six ground balls.

York outshot F&M 26-21, draws were even at 20-20 and F&M went 0-4 on clear attempts.

Last Time We Met Messiah

Paige Moriarty ended with seven goals and two assists, Hannah Serling scored three times with two helpers and Katie Groenke had two goals. Megan Jackson scored a goal and had one assist and Jane Cote ended with two assists.

Maggie Hanzsche caused two turnovers with three ground balls, while Caroline Kolva, Ryann Laible and Katharine Yenke all caused two turnovers each. Danielle Harrington stood tall in goal with 12 stops.

F&M outshot Messiah 32-22, held a 10-8 edge in draws and had a 23-15 advantage in ground balls.
