LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's Emily Kitchin was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse, announced by the league office on Monday. The honor is the first for Kitchin and third for the team this season.
Kitchen went 2-0 this week with 17 saves. She turned away nine shots with a 6.00 goals against average in F&M's 9-6 win over No. 1 Gettysburg on Wednesday and had eight saves in a shutout win over Bryn Mawr on Saturday.
The Diplomats return to action on Saturday, hosting Ursinus for a 12:00 p.m. game.
