LANCASTER, Pa. - In a game with Centennial Conference (CC) playoff implications, the Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team fought Swarthmore to a scoreless draw on Saturday afternoon.

The Diplomats (8-4-3, 4-3-3 CC) needed to defeat the Garnet (9-3-4, 5-1-4 CC) to keep their chances alive, but F&M recorded its third straight tie against conference opponents.

Senior Erin Roy made seven saves in final collegiate home match for her eighth shutout, while Lauren Walker tallied four stops for Swarthmore.

The Garnet had a chance to get on the board with 33:23 left in the game but Emily Coleman's header hit off the inside of the crossbar off a corner from Melinda Petre.

Danielle David gave the Diplomats their best scoring opportunity with a point-blank shot that was saved by Lauren Walker with 24:28 left in the second half.

Swarthmore held a 15-10 shot advantage, while taking six corners to match F&M.

The Diplomats finish the season with an 8-4-3 record and a 4-3-3 mark in the CC.
