LANCASTER, Pa. - Henley Siegrist and Amanda McGowan have been named to the All-Centennnial Conference Women's Soccer First Team, while Bailey Huber earned second team accolades as announced by the league office on Thursday. This is the first All-CC honor for all three Diplomats.
Siegrist, a senior defender, and McGowan, a sophomore goalkeeper, become the 13th and 14th first team selections in F&M history after serving as the linchpins of a defensive unit that posted eight shutouts and held its opponents to 1.03 goals per contest. McGowan totaled 46 saves on the year in net and at one point held opponents scoreless for 479:25 straight minutes. Huber, a senior midfielder, led the way for the F&M midfield in 2011, starting all 15 games she played.
The Diplomats made their first appearance in the CC tournament in nine years this fall, but dropped a first round tilt, 3-0 at Haverford, to conclude the year at 8-7-1.
