Series History: Franklin & Marshall heads into the week with a non-conference showing against Richard Stockton on Wednesday at Tylus Field before returning to Centennial Conference (CC) action against Washington on Saturday.

Against the Ospreys, the Diplomats trail 2-0 in a series that only dates back to 2011. Last season, F&M dropped a 2-1 decision on Oct. 17th when a Stockton score in the 88th minute broke a 1-1 tie, handing the Ospreys the victory at home.

The Diplomats have firmly controlled the all-time series against Washington College, leading the Shore women with a 13-1-1 mark. Last time out, neither team could find the back of the net and had to settle for a 0-0 2OT tie in Lancaster. Washington College has not picked up a win in Lancaster since a 1-0 OT victory on Oct. 22, 2011, while F&M's last win at home occurred on Oct. 15, 2005 with a 3-1 decision.

Last Week: The Diplomats suffered a pair of setbacks last week that included a 2-1 defeat on the road at McDaniel on Wednesday, followed by a 1-0 loss at home against Muhlenberg on Saturday.

F&M lit the scoreboard first against the Green Terror when Nicole Rynecki notched her team-leading sixth of the season at the 10-minute mark. However, McDaniel responded with a pair of scores within the next six minutes to take a 2-1 advantage.

On the day, F&M outshot McDaniel 12-11 but was outmatched on corners at 6-1. Four of those shots came from Spencer Plante, with two finding their way on net. Alexa Yarish and Rynecki also registered two shot apiece.

Against the Mules, the Diplomats fell behind by a score of 1-0 in the 50th minute when a rebound off the hands of goalkeeper Amanda McGowan was sent into the back of the net.

McGowan (4-4-3) was dealt the loss after sending back five of six shots she faced, while Amanda Wong (3-4-1) earned the shutout for Muhlenberg after collecting four saves on the game.

Plante was active through 90 minutes, registering four of F&M's eight shots on the day. The Mules finished the contest with 11 shots, led by C. J. Graetzer with five.
