F&M's victories came in dramatic fashion, beginning with a contest against Penn St. – Berks on Aug 30. In the 86th minute of a scoreless game, Kim Kornbluth '16 chipped the ball 10 yards in front of the Nittany Lions' goalkeeper and Reid knocked it in, giving the Diplomats the thrilling 1-0 victory.

In F&M's final game of the season on Nov. 1 against Dickinson, Nicole Rynecki '15 buried an overtime-winning goal to beat the Red Devils 1-0. Just two minutes into the extra minutes and with the score knotted at 0-0, Reid forced a turnover deep in Dickinson territory and lofted a pass that hit off a Red Devil defender before finding Rynecki 10 yards out.

The senior midfielder took advantage of the opportunity, firing a shot into the right of the goal for her second of the season and ninth of her career to close out the 2014 season on a positive note.

Between the pipes, Shannon Johnson-Finn '18 started 11 games for the Diplomats, making 57 saves to go along with a shutout in the final game of the season.
