Series History: Franklin & Marshall heads down to Florida for eight games in a four-day span when the Diplomats compete in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers. Action begins Sunday when F&M takes on Stevens, a team who won 30 games last season and a squad the Diplomats have never faced. Game two is against Wisconsin-Platteville, a team F&M has yet to play.

On Monday, in game one the Diplomats will battle Salem St. (Mass.), a squad that F&M beat 7-2 last season in Florida, while game two is against St. Joseph (Conn.). The Diplomats are 1-0 against the Blue Jays all-time, with the win coming back in 2012.

Tuesday's first game is against Lasell out of Massachusetts. F&M has a 2-0 record against the Lasers with the most recent victory coming in 2011. The nightcap features the Diplomats taking on Knox (Ill.), another team F&M has never played.

The spring break trip wraps up Wednesday with game one against Brockport St., who won the only meeting ever against the Diplomats back in 2009. F&M will battle Nichols (Mass.) in Florida's final game. The Bison won the teams' only meeting back in 1996.

Records Being Chased: Justine Lohrey has amassed 24 wins in her career, good for fourth on the Diplomats' all-time list. She is three away from third place, and 13 wins from second. The program's leader is Valerie Koegler '89 with 52. Lohrey has the ninth-most innings pitched in F&M history with 283, while Koegler is on the top of the list with 516.1. The senior is also third in appearances with 60, while Kaitlin Zampino '14 is first with 76.

Lohrey (5) is one shutout away from having the most in program history. The record belongs to Zampino with six. Megan Ryan notched three saves last season and is second on the all-time list, only behind Alison Barrett '04 with five.
