LANCASTER, Pa. – Five members of the Franklin & Marshall softball team were named to the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete team.
Izzy Schaefer (Radnor, Pa. / Radnor) received the honor for the third time. Sam Clemens (Hainesport, N.J. / Rancocas Valley Regional) earned the honor for the second consecutive year, while Christine Miles (Crofton, Md. / South River), Kelly Van O' Linda (Wantagh, N.Y. / Wantagh), and Katie Wenger (Upper Darby, Pa. / The Agnes Irwin School) all landed on the list for the first time.

The accolade is granted to any player who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2016-17 academic year and was submitted by a member coach of the NFCA.
