LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall landed seven swimmers in the three individual finals that will be contested Friday evening at the Centennial Conference Championships.  

Brittany McCabe will be the lone Diplomat in the 50-yard freestyle final. She posted the second fastest qualifying time (24.67), finishing behind Washington College junior, Kathy Gerhart, who posted an NCAA B-Cut time of 24.27 in the preliminaries.

First-years Olivia Hill and Garland Bartlett will join senior Meghan Karanian in the 500-yard freestyle finals where they will face off head-to-head with three members of the defending Conference champions from Gettysburg, including Keira Heath, last year's Championship Meet Outstanding Performer. Heath posted a B-Cut in the preliminaries with a 5:05.36, but finished second behind Washington's  Rachel Glasser, who swam a blistering 5:03.42.

First-year, Katherine DeCrosta, posted the top qualifying mark in the 200-yard Individual Medley. DeCrosta clocked a 2:14.35 to edge out Dickinson's Elizabeth Schroll by .35 seconds. Laura Bassford and Samantha Sweeney will join DeCrosta in that final. Gettysburg will field a single entry into the championship race.
