GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall's bid for a repeat championship was halted by Gettyburg Sunday at the Centennial Conference Championship. The host Bullets scored 724.5 points to win the tile while the Diplomats finished in second with 680.

F&M added four more medals in Sunday's finals.

The Diplomats started the final session with a 1-2-3 showing in the 1,650 freestyle. Olivia Hill won the event with a an NCAA "B" Cut, and pool record, 17:37.26. Hill also broke Jenna Walters' (17:38.80) school record in the 1,650.  Garland Bartlett took second in 17:50.13 and Emily Zacherl earned the bronze with a 17:57.67. Maggie Johns finished 10th and Caitlyn Fuller 13th for F&M.

Krista Hollingsworth brought home her second bronze medal with a 2:12.02, third-place finish, in the 200 backstroke. Kasey Christiansen was 14th for F&M.

Ana Franzluebbers was sixth in the 100 free with a 54.57 while teammates Rebecca Daen and Jackie Behr were 12th and 16th. Katherine DeCrosta (2:29.43) just missed a medal in the 200 breaststroke as she was edged by McDaniel's Rachel Walega. Lili Shainis was right behind DeCrosta with a 2:30.61 to place fourth.  

Zacherl and Laura Bassford went fourth and fifth in the 200 butterfly. Zacherl swam 2:14.88 and Bassford touched in 2:15.36. Stephanie Brooks and Courtney Gregor finished 13th and 15th for F&M.

Daen, Hollingsworth, DeCrosta and Franzluebbers finished fourth in the 400 free relay with a 3:37.77. Ursinus was a blink quicker touching in 3:37.76 to earn the bronze. Gettysburg won the relay with a championship and conference record 3:36.42.
