INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Katherine Grant closed out the final day of the NCAA Championships by competing in the 1650-yard freestyle and finished with a time of 17:15.07, which was good for 17th-place. Sarah Thompson of Williams posted the fastest time of 16:31.17.
At the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships last month, Grant posted a time of 17:09.69 in the 1650 that was good for the 14th-fastest time in the nation.
In addition to the 1650, Grant also competed in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle in Indianapolis. At the CC Championships, Grant earned a bronze in the 200, finishing with a time of 1:54.51 and won gold in the 500 at 4:59.49.
