Diplomats Fifth Through Day Two

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall remained in fifth place (212 points) in women's swimming action through day two at the F&M Invitational. Stevens (443) holds a slight lead over Washington & Lee (424), while Mount Saint Mary's is third with 342 and Ramapo is barely ahead of the Diplomats at 221.

Melissa Mullin placed second in the 400-yard individual medley, touching the wall at 4:33.88, while the freshman added a fifth-place spot in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:30.17. Kellen McDonald added a seventh-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley at 4:45.42.

Bridget Dromerick earned third-place points for F&M in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:53.91 and won the B final of the 100-yard backstroke and placed ninth overall at 1:00.11.

In the 200-yard medley relay, Taylor Mateja, Mullin, Courtney Collins, and Jillian Albus earned points for F&M with a time of 1:54.49.

The F&M Invite concludes tomorrow, with preliminaries beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by finals at 5:00 p.m.
