COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus took down No. 24 Franklin & Marshall 118.5-86.5 on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action. The Diplomats fell to 5-2, 4-1 CC, while the Bears stayed undefeated and move to 9-0, 5-0 CC. 

F&M took the top three spots in the 1,000-yard freestyle, as Breann Cavanagh won the event with a time of 11:05.00, followed by Leeza Rojas in second (11:17.80) and Mary Ann Robison in third (11:19.63).

Bridget Dromerick touched the wall first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:13.43) and won the 500-yard freestyle (5:15.71), while earning second-place points in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.10). Melissa Mullin placed second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:13.13.), while the freshman finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:28.25.

In the 50-yard freestyle Jillian Albus tied Ursinus' Micaela Lyons (25.47) for second place, and Taylor Mateja finished second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:15.02), while Courtney Collins touched third at 2:15.79.

The Diplomats return to action next Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. meet at Dickinson.
