LANCASTER, Pa. – On Monday, Franklin & Marshall junior Becca Meyers was again named the Centennial Conference (CC) Swimmer of the Week. It is the second week in a row that she has earned the recognition, making it the third such honor of her career and the third of the season for the Diplomats.
The award, presented by the conference office, comes after a pair of dominant performances by Meyers on Friday night against Johns Hopkins. She opened her evening with an impressive performance in the 1000-yard freestyle, winning with a time of 10:34.57. In the 500-yard freestyle, Meyers again took top honors as she won in 5:06.80.
The Diplomats return to the pool on Friday when the F&M Invitational kicks off at 6:30 in the Kunkel Aquatic Center.
