LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's Allison Wolters was named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) Women's Tennis First Team for Singles and joined teammate Gavriel Rubenstein on the First-Team Double's list, announced by the league office on Thursday.
Wolters (Belle Mead, N.J. / Laurel Springs School) became just the 29th player in Centennial history to land on the First Team three times and is just the fifth Diplomat to claim that honor. She produced an 11-5, 8-1 CC singles mark during her senior campaign at the No. 1 position, bringing her career total up to 41 victories which place 20th on the program's all-time list. Wolters finished her stellar career on a high note by winning her final six matches of the season.
Wolters and Rubenstein (Ardmore, Pa. / Harriton) garnered All-CC Doubles accolades for the first time as a team, while Wolters earned a spot on the list for the third time. The formidable duo racked up a 12-7 record at No. 1 doubles with a 7-3 mark in Centennial competition and a three-match win streak to conclude the season.
Rubenstein's 45 doubles wins throughout her career placed her 11th on the program's all-time list, while Wolters's 40 were good for 17th.
The Diplomats made a return to the CC Postseason for the sixth straight season, tallying a 9-7, 7-3 CC record on the year.
