Crawley Leads F&M To Fourth At CC Finals

HAVERFORD, Pa. -- Sheena Crawley struck gold three times to help lead Franklin & Marshall to a fourth place finish in the Centennial Conference Indoor Championship Saturday. The Diplomats recorded 69.5 points while Johns Hopkins (140), Haverford (134) and Ursinus (87) finished ahead of F&M.

Crawley won two individual events for F&M and was a member of a winning relay team. She earned her first gold in the mile with a 5:07.42 which broke her own school record of 5:11.23 set in 2010.
 
Crawley picked up her second gold in the 800 crossing at 2:19.87. Caitlin Regan took third in the 800 with a 2:22.29. Crawley and Regan later joined Henley Siegrist and Sylvia Zohrabian to place first in the 4x400 relay with a 4:07.03.

Siegrist and Regan placed second and fourth for F&M in the 400-meter dash. Siegrist earned a silver with a 59.76 and Regan finished in 1:00.10. Siegrist, Regan, Zohrabian and Claire Marshall teamed to place fifth the 4x200 relay with a 1:51.02.

Katie Allison picked up a bronze in the pole vault with a10-0 and  Zohrabian was fifth with a 9-6.25. Siegrist was fourth in the 200 with a 26.81. Martha Stefaniak was seventh in the shot put with a toss of 35-6.6.

The Diplomats return to action March 5 at Virginia Tech.
