Regan Takes Third in 800 at Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Caitlin Regan raced to a third-place finish in the 800 meters to pace the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team at the Yale Invitational on Saturday in a field that featured primarily Division I schools. There was no team scoring in the event.

Regan crossed the finish line in 2:23.77 in the 800 to earn the top finish of the day for the Diplomats. The senior also took 19th in the 400 with a time of 1:01.26, placing her close behind classmate Henley Siegrist, who finished 17th in 1:00.79. Siegrist also competed in the 60 meter dash, taking 13th with a mark of 8.56.

Martha Stefaniak secured an 11th-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 33'8.75'', while Livia Meneghin placed 14th at 30'9.00''.

The Diplomats return to action on Sunday, Jan. 22 at Susquehanna at 10:00 am.
