LANCASTER, Pa. – Sheena Crawley was named Centennial Conference Track and Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday. This past weekend, Crawley claimed two gold medals at the Orange and Maroon Classic held at Susquehanna University.
She set a school record in the 800-meter cruising to a time of 2:14.87, 19 seconds faster than the second place finisher. Crawley also claimed her second gold as a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished at 4:11.90.
Her stand-out performances have qualified her to compete this weekend (Friday and Saturday) at the Penn State National Meet, one of the largest D1 events. Crawley will be competing in the elite Invitational Mile against all DI runners, a highly competitive invitational race. The link to view her event is below.
