F&M Competes at Millersville Metrics

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall recorded a trio of top-three finishes at the Millersville Metrics in women's track & field action on Saturday. There was no team scoring in the event.

Martha Stefaniak notched a second-place finish in the discus with a mark of 122'11'', while Samantha Walmer took second in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:11.01. Walmer also grabbed 13th in the 100 meter hurdles, crossing the line in 17.52.

Sheena Crawley delivered the other top-three placing of the day for F&M as she crossed third in the 3000 meters. Crawley finished with a time of 10:00.08.

In the 400 meters, Caitlin Regan took ninth with a mark of 1:00.44.

Ariel Leftkovits secured 14th in the 200 meter dash at 26.66.

F&M returns to action on Friday for day one of a pair of events. The Diplomats will compete at both the Bloomsburg Husky Open and Bucknell Bison Open next weekend.
