Crawley Breaks Own School Record in 1500 Meters

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sheena Crawley broke her own school record in the 1500 meters as the lone representative of the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team at the Bucknell Bison Open on Sunday. The event consisted of primarily Division I competitors, and featured no team scoring.

Crawley crossed the finish line in 4:27.98 to nab eighth and set a new school mark, breaking her previous record time of 4:28.72 that she set last spring. In addition to holding the mark in the 1500 meters, the junior also tops the outdoor record books in the 800 and 5000 meters.

The Diplomats return to action on Friday for day one of the Shippensburg Paul Kaiser Classic.
