LANCASTER, Pa. - Sheena Crawley will represent Franklin & Marshall at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Claremont McKenna-Harvey Mudd-Scripps Colleges in Claremont, Calif. this weekend.

The junior is making her third straight appearance at the national meet and will compete in the preliminary round of the 800 meters on Friday at 10:10 pm EST. Her seed time of 2:10.41 in the 800 ranks ninth in the country. The top eight finishers in Friday's preliminaries will advance to Saturday's finals at 7:20 EST.

Crawley's performance this weekend will cap off an impressive spring campaign in which she broke three school records (800m, 1500m, 5000m), two of which were already her own, and earned Mideast Region Athlete of the Year honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). She also captured the fifth Centennial Conference (CC) gold medal of her outdoor career with a first-place finish in the 1500 meters.

The two-time outdoor All-American posted NCAA qualifying marks in both the 800 and 1500, but chose to focus her efforts solely on the 800 this weekend.
