LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall captured eight first-place finishes at the inaugural Coach I Open hosted by F&M Saturday afternoon. Sheena Crawley led the way with school and Centennial Conference record in the 1,000 meter with a time of 2:52.52. Crawley held the previous record with a 2:58.
F&M took the first four positions in the 800 and 200 with Larissa Kehne taking first (2:32.86) followed by Justis Wright in second (2:37.74) while Victoria Ngo placed third (2:40.01) and Kimberly Hilfrank ran 2:40.40 to place fourth in the 800. Olivia Bendit led the way in the 200 with a 27.93 and Sylvia Zohrabian came in second at 28.27. Samantha Greenberg placed third (29.10) followed by Alexandra Hawkins who turned in a 29.15 for fourth place.
Samantha Walmer ran 9.17 in the 55-meter hurdles for first and Greenberg took second at 10.03. Ariel Lefkovits had the fastest time in the 400 at 1:03.95 and the Diplomats took the top two spots in the 4x400 relay. Lefkovits, Kristen Marinaccio, Crawley and Zohrabian made up the team that placed first in 4:17.06 while Kehne, Mallory Reed, Wright and Bridget Grogan ran 4:29.40.
Rebecca Swisher had a height of 11'-3.75" in the pole vault for first and Morgan Gray also picked up first with a distance of 33'-11.5" in the triple jump. Livia Meneghin took second with a distance of 35'-6.75" in shot put.
F&M returns to action next weekend for the Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Ursinus.
