LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore Rebecca Swisher (Lititz, Pa. / Lancaster Catholic) is ready to represent Franklin & Marshall at the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week in Delaware, Ohio, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
This will be Swisher's first time competing at the NCAA's and F&M's fifth-straight season with a representative as Sheena Crawley qualified for the championships in each of her four years at F&M.
Swisher enters the pole vault field as the No. 13 seed in the 22-person field with a seed mark of 3.72 meters (12'-02.50"). Last week at the ECAC Championships, Swisher earned a third-place spot out of 22 competitors at 12'-01.40" and on May 2 at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships, her height of 12'-02.50" was an F&M record as she earned first-place points for F&M.
