The loss of eight-time conference champion Rebecca Swisher, now a member of the F&M coaching staff, will be difficult to replace. However, the Diplomats boast a strong core of returning athletes that performed well during the winter, and have added a group of newcomers that has already begun contributing at the conference level.

Kiszka (fifth in the 60-meter hurdles) and Muccio (sixth in the 400) also tallied strong individual performances at the conference championships, as well as filling two slots in both the 4x200 and 4x400. Piccinini tallied points in the long jump, finishing eighth.
