LEXINGTON, Ky. - Franklin & Marshall freshman Julie Harvey has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Honorable Mention team, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. Harvey becomes the first freshman and third Diplomat to earn All-American consideration. The other two F&M players to receive the honor were Nicole Morano in 2009 and Margot Phelan in 2006.

The postseason awards continue to roll in for Harvey, as she was also named the AVCA Mid-Atlantic Region Freshman of the Year, the Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Player of the Year and made her way onto both the All-Mid-Atlantic and All-CC First Teams.

Harvey paced F&M in hitting percentage (.340), kills (358) and blocks (56) and finished tops in the CC in hitting percentage, second in both kills and points (4.11 per game) and 10th in blocks.

The Diplomats saw their season come to an end with a 18-11 mark after a 3-2 loss to Gettysburg in the CC semifinals.
