F&M in the NCAA Tournament: This marks Franklin & Marshall's ninth appearance in the NCAA Tournament. F&M notched its highest-finish in 2000 when the Diplomats fell to Juniata in the Regional Finals.
F&M's most recent NCAA campaign was in 2014 when the Diplomats earned the automatic qualifier after collecting their seventh Centennial Conference (CC) Title. F&M lost to Hope (Mich.) in the First Round.
How F&M Got Here: F&M earned one of 21 at-large bids into the 64-team tournament after finishing 2018 with a 23-7 record, which included key wins against regional-rivals Susquehanna (3-2) on Oct. 19 and Cabrini (3-0) on Oct. 24.
A Look at the Pod: New Paltz earned an automatic qualifier after defeating SUNY Geneseo 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-23) in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship.
No. 2 Johnson & Wales notched its fourth-straight Great Northeast Atlantic Conference (GNAC) Championship after defeating Rivier 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-18) to nab the automatic qualifier.
Eastern Connecticut State also took home their conference title, downing Keene State College 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-18, 25-21) in the Little East Conference Tournament to earn the automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament.

All-CC: Franklin & Marshall swept the individual honors and landed four of its members to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball team. Setter Grace Maggiore was named Player of the Year, right-side hitter Allison Franke earned Rookie of the Year, and head coach Mary Kate Salko was voted Coach of the Year. Both Maggiore and Franke landed on the First Team, while senior Barbara Kapustin was named to the Second Team and Grace Polisano received Honorable Mention.
Among the Leaders (NCAA): Grace Maggiore currently ranks in the top-50 across all Division III teams in two categories. The sophomore is ninth in services aces with 74 on the year and ranks 29th in aces per set with a 0.69 average.
As a team, F&M ranks 29th in total service aces with 266 on the year and places 47th in aces per set (2.42).
Salko Reaches 300: With a 3-2 victory over Gettysburg on Oct. 10, head coach Mary Kate Salko reached her 300th career win. Only two other Centennial coaches have reached this milestone. Salko became F&M's winningest coach in 2016, passing Steve Coulson (251).
