A four-year member of the men's lacrosse team, Jon Dale (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) was a three-time All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection, a three-time MAC Most Valuable Player and a two-time team Most Valuable Player. During the 1988 season, he led the team in scoring with 92 points, setting a new record for points in a year (92) on 26 goals and 66 assists, on his way to his first conference MVP award.
He repeated the feat in 1989 as he again led the team in scoring with 27 goals and 61 assists for 88 points in 15 games, while leading F&M to the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Lacrosse Championships. For his performance, he was named an All-American second team selection. As a senior, he led the team in scoring, recording 38 goals and 73 assists for a school record 111 total points in 14 games, setting a new school record, and establishing new school career scoring (321 points) and assists (218) records.
For his performance, Dale was selected to play in the annual men's lacrosse North/South All-Star game and was again honored with All-American second team status.
