Eager and Lovett All-Region
LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall College seniors, George Eager and Barry Lovett, were named to the D3Football.com All-South Region Third Team on Thursday. Eager earned a spot at receiver and as a kick returner, while Lovett earned his spot at cornerback.

Lovett Selected for Tazon de Estrellas
Team Stars & Stripes head coach Bill Manlove has selected a provisional roster of 51 players to face the Tec Monterrey All Stars in the 2009 Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars) on Saturday, December 19 on the Tec de Monterrey Campus Estado de Mexico. Senior cornerback, Barry Lovett has been selected to represent Franklin & Marshall College.

Eager, Troxell, Staff Selected to Coach All-Star Game
Following a 9-2 season that included a victory in the ECAC South Atlantic Bowl, Franklin & Marshall wide receiver George Eager and head football coach John Troxell have been selected to represent the Diplomats at the Division III Senior All-Star Classic. The game will be played on December 5 at 1:00 p.m. in Salem, Virginia, site of the Stagg Bowl, NCAA Division III’s National Championship game.

Diplomats Rally for ECAC South Atlantic Title

Named the 39th coach in Franklin & Marshall football history on March 22, 2006, Troxell took the reins of the Diplomats following five seasons (2001-2005) as an assistant coach at Lafayette during which he served as video coordinator, running backs coach, recruiting coordinator and special teams coach for the 2004 and 2005 Patriot League champion Leopards.
