Survivor Africa Winner and Fox Soccer Analyst Ethan Zohn Coming to F&M

Survivor Africa winner and Fox Sports Soccer Analyst, Ethan Zohn, will speak on his experiences in Africa, the Grassroot Soccer campaign, and HIV/AIDS awareness at Franklin & Marshall College on Monday, March 3. Zohn will speak at the Roschel Performing Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to the general public. (more)

Men's Soccer Launches Africa Blog

Several members of the Franklin & Marshall soccer team and Head Coach Dan Wagner developed a blog to record their experiences surrounding their Diplomatic journey to South Africa. F&M's men's soccer team will travel to Khayelitsha, Cape Town, as part of the F&M Soccer Africa Project, which aims to check the spread of HIV/AIDS in South Africa. (more)

Men's Soccer Receives NSCAA Ethics Award

The Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team received the 2007 NSCAA College Team Ethics Award, which recognizes teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the Laws of the Game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards accumulated throughout the season. Senior forward Brandon Corday, a member of the Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team, has been named to the 2007 Jewish Sports Review All-America first team for the second straight year. (more)

The 19th head coach in Franklin & Marshall history, Dan Wagner was named the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. It was his fifth season as the squad's mentor. Wagner guided the 2006 Diplomats to a program-best 13-4-3 record. The team capped that with the school's first NCAA Division III Soccer Championship berth in a quarter century, and myriad postseason awards
