Diplomats Picked No. 2 in Preseason Poll; Pritchard DIII POY

The 2007 NCAA Division III National Champions and 2008 Runners Up Franklin & Marshall women’s lacrosse team are ranked No. 2 in the 2009 Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll. Senior attacker Jen Pritchard was named Preseason Player of the Year for the second time in her career. (more)

F&M Field Hockey; Lax Captain Tapped to Head SEC

Before Mary Schapiro ’77 was tapped by President-Elect, Barack Obama, to chair the Securities and Exchange Commission, Franklin & Marshall’s field hockey and lacrosse coaches saw fit to make the former Diplomat team captain. (more)

Franklin & Marshall Names Paul Women’s Lax Coach

Franklin & Marshall College Director of Athletics and Recreation, Patricia S.W. Epps, announced Lauren Paul ’03 as the College’s women’s lacrosse head coach. With the appointment, Paul becomes the tenth coach in the program’s 32-year history. (more)

Meisenberg Named JSR All-American

Junior midfielder Sarah Meisenberg, a member of the Franklin & Marshall women’s lacrosse team, has been named to the 2008 Jewish Sports Review All-America first team. It is the second time she has earned this honor and fourth All-American accolade received this season. (more)

Four Named Inside Lacrosse All-Americans

Jen Pritchard, Sarah Meisenberg, Ashley Bevington and Shannon Summers, members of the Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team, are earning their fourth post-season honor in 2008 by being named All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse. (more)

Five Named to IWLCA All-Region Team

Five members of the Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Metro Region Team. Juniors Jen Pritchard, Sarah Meisenberg, Shannon Summers and Ashley Bevington were selected to the first team, while sophomore Blake Hargest was named to the second team. (more)

Women's Lacrosse Falls Short of Second Title

Sarah Bray came off the bench to score a career- and game-high five goals to lead No.4 Hamilton over Franklin & Marshall 13-6 for its first-ever NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday afternoon at Donald J. Kerr Stadium on the campus of Roanoke College. (more)

Diplomats Advance to NCAA Championship Game

The No. 3 Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team could not have picked a better time to get its first-ever win over second-ranked College of New Jersey, posting a 14-12 victory in the 2008 NCAA Semifinals hosted by Roanoke College on Saturday afternoon. (more)

Diplomats Headed To Salem!

Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team, the Division III defending national champions, returns to the national semifinals for a second straight season in 2008. The Diplomats are among the last four teams and one of two squads returning to the NCAA semifinals from last year. (more)

A two-time All-America choice and three-time Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Metro Region First Team selection for the Diplomats, Lauren Paul ’03, became the 10th women’s lacrosse coach in the program’s history in September, 2008.
