James Conway placed fifth at the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) conference, qualifying for the Division I NCAA Wrestling Championships in Kansas City, Missouri this past weekend. Conway won the Elite 90 award, which honors the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in their sport while also achieving the highest academic standard among their peers. The award is presented at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 90 championships. Conway was given this award before the finals with a standing ovation of over 30,000 people.
