Baker Campus Fields

Caplan Field:

Caplan Field is the home of Franklin & Marshall’s baseball team. The infield was laser-graded and top-dressed to improve the playing surface in 2020. The Diplomats’ diamond features a batting cage and a press box adjacent to the home dugout.

The dugouts were expanded in 2012 and new rails and padding were installed in 2018. Along the right field and left field fences are double-barrel bullpens for both the home and away teams.

A warning track was installed in 2017 and new windscreens featuring the Centennial Conference and Middle Atlantic Conference Championship banners along with NCAA appearances were added in 2020.

Diplomat Softball Field:

The home of the softball team, the Baker Campus Field was completed in 2004. The field is fully fenced, and backs up to a wooded area providing a peaceful setting for a softball game. Outdoor batting cages allow for players to swing away while the diamond is in use.
