LANCASTER, PA -- Freshman Satyajit Seshadri (Chennai, India/Seshardi Manor Alwarpet) improved to 2-0 in his young intercollegiate career as the Franklin & Marshall College men's squash team improved to 2-0 on the year with a 6-3 victory over visiting Hobart College.
In the Diplomats' home opener, Seshadri dominated in his #2 match sweeping the Statesmen's Prateek Patni 9-6, 9-5, 9-0 to key Franklin & Marshall to victories in the #1-6 matches to capture their second victory of the year.
At #1, Mihir Kapoor (Sr., Mumbai, India/Doon School) recorded a 3-1 (9-4, 6-9, 9-4, 9-0) victory over Tenvir Ratnore, while Otto Schlosser (So., Denver, CO/Denver Academy) rolled to a 3-1 (9-2,4-9, 9-2, 9-1) victory at #4 as the Statesmen could not overcome the Diplomats' success versus the top of their lineup.
Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on November 22 at home versus George Washington University.
