SOUTH HADLEY, MA -- Franklin & Marshall College's Freddy McNeely (Fr., Newtown Square, PA/Hill School) went 4-0 with victories at #1 over Dina Guth of Wesleyan, Hannah Baker of Middlebury, Jules Avrutin of Tufts and Shaila Pandole of William Smith while leading the Diplomat women's squash team to a 1-3 record at the 2004 Mount Holyoke/William Smith Invitational.

Against Wesleyan, the Diplomats dominated the match with victories at #1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7. At #1, McNeely easily handled Guth winning in three by scores of 9-0, 9-0 and 9-1. Jessie Mitchell (Fr., Devonshire, Bermuda/Canterbury School), Minal Patel (So., Avon, CT/Westminster School), Karley Biggs (Sr., Bethlehem, PA/Moravian Academy), Lizzy Denenberg (So., Wilmington, DE/Sanford School) and Barbara Bee (Fr., Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) tacked on victories at #2, 3 4, 6 and 7, respectively, to aid in the win.

Overall, Middlebury (8-1 L), Tufts (7-2 L) and William Smith (8-1 L) closed out the invitational with victories over the Diplomats as F&M falls to 2-5 on the year.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on February 7 at home versus Haverford and George Washington.
