AMHERST, MA -- Franklin & Marshall College's Mihir Kapoor (Sr., Mumbai, India/Doon School) went 2-0 at #1, but Bowdoin and Bates used strong performances in the middle of their lineups to defeat the F&M men's squash team at the Amherst Invitational.
Against Bates, Kapoor dominated Ben Schippers 3-0 at #1 and Satyajit Seshadri (Fr., Chennai, India/Gill Adarsh) knocked off Jamie White 3-2 at #3 for the Diplomats' victories in a 7-2 loss.
Versus Bowdoin, Kapoor concluded his day by coming back from an early deficit to handle Greg Clement 3-1. George Edwards (So., Bryn Mawr, PA/Harriton) dropped Jon Crowell 3-0 at #2, Hassan Ahmed (Sr., Lahore, Pakistan/Aitchison College) defeated Chris Metcalf 3-1 at #5 and Tom Kiefhaber (Jr., Cincinnati, OH/Seven Hills) picked up a default at #9 for the Diplomats' wins in a 5-4 loss.
Franklin & Marshall (8-7) will continue the season on February 14 at Cornell.
