LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall defeated George Washington University 9-0 and Haverford College 8-1 in women's squash at the Mayser Center.

Against George Washington, the Diplomats dominated the match as #1 Freddy McNeely (So., Newtown Square, PA/Hill School) rolled past Jessica Marks 3-0 (9-0, 9-0, 9-2) and #2 Jessica Mitchell (So., Devonshire, Bermuda/Canterbury School) upended Emily Elliott 3-1 (5-9, 9-0, 9-7, 9-5).

F&M finished the match with victories by Minal Patel (Jr., Avon, CT/Westminster School), Amanda Lesko (Fr., Denver, CO/St. Mary's Academy), Lizzy Denenberg (Jr., Wilmington, DE/Sanford School), Barbara Bee (So., Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) and Virginia Rollins (So., Baltimore, MD/McDonogh School) before Roshni Lodhia (So., Dar es Salaam, Tanzania/International School) and Cherice Mahal (Fr., Bloomington, MN/John F. Kennedy) recorded wins by default.

Versus Haverford, Franklin & Marshall continued its roll as McNeely dropped Zui-Hei Tay 3-0 (9-1, 9-0, 9-0) as F&M picked up 3-0 victories at #1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8, in addition to a default win by Mahal at #9, for the 8-1 win.

The match of the day occurred at #5 as Elif Sen and Denenberg dueled to a 3-2 victory by Sen as she held on for a 9-5, 7-9, 5-9, 9-7, 10-8 victory.

Franklin & Marshall (9-8) will return to action on February 18-20 at the prestigious Howe Cup at Princeton University.
