NORTHAMPTON, MA - Franklin & Marshall College's Freddy McNeely (Jr., Newtown Square, PA/Hill School) went 3-0 at #1 to lead the Franklin & Marshall College women's squash team past Wesleyan University and Hamilton College for a 2-1 record at the Smith & Mt. Holyoke Invitational.

Versus Middlebury College in a 5-4 loss, McNeely cruised past Hannah Baker 9-7, 6-9, 9-1, 9-6 as the Diplomats (5-7) captured the #1-2, #5 and #7 matches. At #2, Jessica Mitchell (Jr., Devonshire, Bermuda/Canterbury School) handled Sarah Hatfield 9-1, 9-0, 9-7, while Tracey Sole (Fr., Glendale, Zimbabwe/Peterhouse Girls School) downed Kara Zarchin 9-0, 9-3, 9-2 at #5 and Barbara Bee (Jr., Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) defeated Brooke Farquhar 9-2, 9-3, 9-0 at #7 as the Diplomats fell to 9-7 all-time against Middlebury in women's squash.

Against the Continentals of Hamilton College, the Diplomats dominated the top of the lineup as McNeely, Mitchell and Davinia Buckley (Fr., Atlanta, GA/Pomfret School) won the #1-3 matches. Sole, Lizzy Denenberg (Sr., Wilmington, DE/Sanford School) and Bee added victories at #5-7, respectively, as the Diplomats improved to 8-3 all-time against Hamilton.

In the night cap versus Wesleyan, Franklin & Marshall again controlled the top of the lineup as McNeely and Mitchell notched 9-3, 9-0, 9-5 and 9-4, 9-2, 9-0 wins at #1 and #2, respectively. Amanda Lesko (So., Denver, CO/St. Mary's Academy), Sole, Denenberg, Bee and Margaret Seaman (Jr., Cazenovia, NY/Northwest Academy) wrapped up the win with victories at #4-8 as Franklin & Marshall improves to 8-7 all-time against Wesleyan in women's squash.
