Princeton Hands Men's Squash 8-1 Defeat

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's Ketankumar Patel improved his season record to 2-2 with a five game win over Princeton's John Edwards. The win in the ninth position was the only victory of the night for the Diplomats, who fell to Princeton by a score of 8-1.

After taking the first two games of his match, Patel watched Edwards battle back in the next two games to draw even. The final two games of the match were the most competitive up and down the ladder on the evening with Edwards taking the fourth game 10-8. Patel rebounded in the fifth game for a 9-7 win to stave off the shutout.

With the loss, the Diplomats fall to 1-5 on the season, while Princeton improves to 2-0. F&M will take on Penn Charter on Thursday, before returning to intercollegiate action against Stanford and Hobart on Saturday.
