NEW HAVEN, Conn. - For the second time in as many meetings this season, Cornell handed Franklin & Marshall a 7-2 loss in men's squash action. This time, the Big Red (8-11) used the victory to propel itself into Saturday's semifinal of the College Squash Association Hoehn Cup Championships, which decides the rankings of the 9th through 16th teams in the nation. The Diplomats (12-10) fall into the consolation bracket, where they will face Bowdoin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Cornell needed all five games to pick up wins in the second, third and fifth positions. Jehangir Aibara and Seth Cruice picked up the Diplomats wins in the fourth and eighth hole. Cruice's win at eight was the sixth straight. The F&M junior has a 9-1 record over his last ten matches.

Franklin & Marshall fell to 12-10 on the year, and will face Bowdoin tomorrow. F&M won the prior meeting between the schools, 5-4, back on January 13th at Yale.
