NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Franklin & Marshall's women's squash team went 2-1 at this weekend's Yale Round Robin with wins over St. Lawrence and Wellesley and a loss to Bates.

First-years Ellie Foster and Tonya Arora each won 3-0 in the Diplomats (3-7) 6-3 win over St. Lawrence Friday evening. The win was F&M's second over St. Lawrence this season. Their sweeps were the first of two clean sweeps on the weekend for the pair of freshmen. All eight Diplomats won 3-0 in the 9-0 win over Wellesley on Saturday. The Diplomats would have suffered the same fate in the 9-0 loss to Bates, save for Dana Russo taking her opponent to four games in that match.

The Diplomats return to action next weekend at the Smith/Holyoke Round Robin.
