DAVIDSONVILLE, N.C. - Franklin & Marshall tied Gardner-Webb and fell 33-20 to Davidson in a tri-meet at Davidson. Matt Fullowan and Anthony Bongarzone were each double-winners for the Diplomats.

Fullowan went to 15-7 on the season with major decisions over Gardner-Webb's Blake Slayer and Davidson's Ike Crews, 14-4 and 12-4. Bongarzone put a 14-4 major on Gardner-Webb's David Pelsang and collected six points in a forfeit against Davidson.

Matt Murray and Colin Ely each picked up pins on 1-1 afternoons. Ely pinned Mark Ieevratnam in the first period of the 197-pound bout against Davidson. He bumped up to 285 against Gardner-Webb, but fell 4-3 to Dustin Porter. Murray's victory also came against his GW opponent. He decked Morgan McDaniel in two-minutes even.

Eric Norgard picked up the remaining Diplomats' victory on the afternoon, a 13-5 major over Davidson's Carl Sandercock.

The Diplomats are 0-6-1 on the season. F&M returns to action tomorrow at Appalachian State.
