AMHERST, Mass. -Franklin & Marshall's women's squash team fell 9-0 to #1 Trinity (Conn.) on Sunday, wrapping up a New England weekend with a record of 2-4. The #18 Diplomats (5-9) dropped matches to #12 Amherst and #21 Colby, both by a score of 7-2, on Friday at the Amherst Round Robin.  F&M bounced back on Saturday with an 8-1 win over #25 Columbia and a 7-2 win over #30 Smith.

Bouncing around the ladder between the seventh and ninth positions, Gabby Robinson won the first five matches she played before falling victim to her opponent from Trinity. Robinson is 7-3 in her last 10 matches played. Her weekend wins included a trio of 3-0 sweeps and pair of 3-1 wins.

After falling against her Amherst opponent Friday night, Courtney Mulligan reeled off four straight wins, including three 3-0 sweeps, for a 4-1 weekend. Mulligan has won nine of her last dozen matches. #1 Morgan Smith went 3-2 on the weekend, while #5 Chelsea Ross and #9 Dana Russo each put up 3-3 marks.

Seeing her first action of the year, Aleka Woods broke even with a 2-2 record. Caitlyn Frank picked up her first win of the season in her first match of the year, a 3-0 sweep of Smith's Yichu Zhao.

The Diplomats return to action on Saturday at Haverford.
