HAVERFORD, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall swept Haverford 9-0 in
men's squash on Saturday. The Diplomats (9-5) managed 3-0 sweeps in
eight of the nine matches, with the Fords' (2-6) T. Ibbotson
Sindelar taking his opponent to five in the ninth flight.
Playing in his first match of the season, #9 Justin Moore was
taken to a fifth game by Sindelar. Moore triumphed 11-6 in the
decisive game.
#1 Gabriel de Melo allowed Andrew McComas only five points,
moving de Melo to 8-5 on the year. Playing up a spot at #2 on
Saturday, Juan Lopez limited Zef Konst to 11 total points in a 3-0.
The 8-6 Lopez is now 2-0 this season in the second position.
Wick Clothier remained unbeaten in scoring matches with a win
over Andrew Wee in the seventh position. Clothier is now 3-0 in the
ladder and 5-2 when factoring exhibitions.
The Diplomats return to action on Friday night with a formidable
foe in the University of Rochester.
