Box Score HAVERFORD, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team
dropped a 1-0 conference game against Haverford taking only three
shots to the Fords 22. The loss dropped the Diplomats to 7-5
overall and 3-4 in the Centennial Conference (CC). The win improved
Haverford to 9-4 (4-2 CC).
Haverford got on the board early, finding the net in the sixth
minute of the game. Meg Boyer reacted quickly when the ball was
deflected off goalie
Hannah Barry and
squeezed the ball to the back of the net.
The Fords had seven different players take shots, eight of
which were on goal, and all stopped by Barry. Carley
Nicholson,
Selena Boro and
Jen
Korngut had the Diplomats three shots.
Franklin & Marshall looks to rebound Wednesday home
against Dickinson. Game time is set for 7 PM.
