GENEVA, N.Y. – Franklin & Marshall's women's squash team wrapped up a 2-1 weekend with a Sunday sweep of William Smith College. The #18 Diplomats (9-11) started the weekend with a 9-0 setback at the hands of #6 Cornell, but rallied for a 5-4 victory over #22 St. Lawrence and the 9-0 over the #24 Herons.

Courtney Mulligan became the first Diplomat to 10 wins this season with a 2-1 weekend. After falling to her Cornell opponent, Mulligan (11-7) rallied for a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence's Jessica Zeigler. She capped the weekend with a 3-0 sweep of Courtney Leous. Sunday's victory marked the 34th of Mulligan's career, breaking her into the top 20 in total victories. She is tied with Maureen Sheffler and Nadia Novik for 18th on the career charts. A 35th win would draw her even with Misha Grewal for 17th.

#1 Morgan Smith, #2 Chelsea Ross, #7 Gabby Robinson, and #9 Dana Russo each went 2-1 on the weekend. Ross (12-8) and Russo (8-10) have now won six of her last eight matches, while Smith (10-8) has won five in the same stretch. Robinson (8-2) is 8-2 since breaking into the scoring portion of the lineup.

The loss to Cornell was the sixth in as many meetings, but F&M still maintains an 11-6 lead in the series. The victory over St. Lawrence was the third in as many years, while the win over William Smith was the second consecutive. F&M leads its series with St. Lawrence 7-3, and William Smith 5-2.

The Diplomats return to action at home next Saturday against Williams.
